Remote service

PLC programming

You tell us what the equipment has to do. We write the program, test it, and send it to you or your electrician to load. No site visit needed.

How it works

From a description to a tested program

Step 1

You describe it

What the equipment is, what it should do, and what is wired to the controller, or what you plan to wire.

Step 2

We write it up

You get a plain-language sequence and an input and output list to check before any code is written.

Step 3

We program and test

The program is written and run in a simulator against the sequence you approved.

Step 4

You load it

We send the program file with loading instructions and stay on the phone or a remote session while you start it up.

What you receive

Everything needed to run it and own it

Deliverables

  • The program file, commented, with no password held back
  • An input and output list with terminal numbers
  • The sequence of operation in plain language
  • A startup checklist for testing each input and output on site
  • Support during startup by phone or remote session

Good to know

  • What we program. AutomationDirect BRX controllers, using the Do-more platform. Ask about other models.
  • Safety stays hardwired. Limits, emergency stops and other safety devices must be wired to work without the PLC.
  • On site. Wiring and startup are done by you or your electrician.

Add-ons

More than the program, if you want it

01

A built panel

We can supply the controller in a wired and tested panel, ready to mount.

02

Remote monitoring

Put the same controller on a phone dashboard with alerts and history.

03

Changes later

Because you hold the program, anyone can change it. We are glad to do it too.
