Cooler and Freezer Monitoring Panel

We drop sensors into your walk-ins, reach-ins and cases and watch the temperatures. We do not touch your refrigeration equipment or its controls.

What it is

A panel, sensors and a phone app

A small panel in the back room with a temperature sensor in every cooler and freezer, and a dashboard on your phone that alerts you when a box gets warm.

It works with any refrigeration equipment, including simple remote condensing units with no controller, and it does not disturb your refrigeration contractor's work.

Temperatures

Every box on one screen

Each cooler, freezer and case by name, with colour for normal, defrost and alarm.

Alerts

Told before product is lost

A limit for each box, with a delay so a defrost or a busy door does not set it off.

History

A record you can pull up

A trend line for every box that shows when a problem started and how long it lasted.

Power

An outage is a phone call

A power-loss alert at night gives you time to act before the product is gone.

Going further

If you have a refrigeration controller

Monitoring with our own sensors is where most sites start. Where the store has a refrigeration controller, the same dashboard can also show each circuit's status, defrosts and settings, and the compressor racks.

This is a separate package, set up with your refrigeration contractor and quoted per store.

Refrigeration service

We also work on the equipment

If a box alarms and you do not already have a refrigeration contractor, we can service it. If you do, we send them the alert and stay out of the way.

Ask about service
  • Walk-in coolers and freezers: condensing units, evaporators, defrost and door heaters.
  • Reach-ins and display cases: diagnosis and repair.
  • Preventive maintenance: coil cleaning, charge and electrical checks.
  • Controls: thermostats, defrost timers, sensors and wiring faults.

Service is by arrangement. Tell us what you have and where you are and we will tell you what we can cover.

Common questions

Questions about the cooler and freezer monitoring panel

Do you need access to our refrigeration controller?

No. The sensors are our own and sit in the refrigerated space.

Does it need our internet?

No. The panel carries its own cellular connection.

Who gets the alerts?

Whoever you choose: the owner, a manager, your refrigeration contractor. Each can have a login.

Do you fix the equipment when it alarms?

Monitoring tells you and the people you name. If you have a refrigeration contractor, repairs stay with them. If you do not, ask us about service.

What does it cost?

A one-time price for the panel and sensors, then a monthly monitoring fee. Both depend on how many points you want watched, so call for a quote.
